Hard not to like this

Short, but very well done, my only beef is that this peice seems so unfinished, in the sence that I was waiting to see what happened to his mother in the war, aftermath, ect... We can all assume what happened of course...

My point is that there is potential here for much more, including tear jerking scenes that'll really make a powerful series... This little vid is the tip of the iceberg man... I'm sure you know where you could go with this...

I'd love to see this continued... It'd really add to the site...

People want a sequel... so maybe ill do something next christmas. Im not sure yet. Thanks for the review

I will never...

I will never be boring.
I will never be muzzled.
I will never be hopeless.
I will never be stale.
I will never be afraid.
I will never hold back words...

... and I will never... lose my colour...

"A part"

Two beings break "apart", both beings, lose "a part" of themselves. The being in question tries to replace this "part" with "parts" from the 'big machine', entertainment, alcohol, and perhaps religion??

Problem is, while he finds many "parts" none of them are the right sized "parts" or they're broken "parts".

Finally, realizing he'll never be able to replace that "part" he accepts his fate and moves on... I loved the presentation, understood it completly.

I remember seeing this years ago

This animation is one of several done by an artist that seems to excel at bringing out chilling feelings in very short flashes. He brings out very complex thoughts in a short amount of time, and this one I remember most of all.

Strange isn't it, that the woman stabs her problemitic "friend" George to solve her problem with him, yet is stricken by lonliness afterward, knowing that now there is no one to speak with anymore, no one to get angry at, no one to come see her. She killed the only thing she really had - and realized it too late...

That quick, convoluted presentation has stuck with me for a long time.

BA HA HA

A freaking Pterodactyl???? SCREEAWWWW!

Ah that was good for a laugh. And your animation was excellent. Keep up the good work.

(continous quiet chuckling)

I had no idea this series was that good...

Good god man. this vid alone adresses so many questions and problems in our own society that I'm absolutly amazed at it. It's a social commentary on so many levels and it involves - rabbits and cats.
From this alone I can understand why people do the rediculous and strange, hurtful things to each other and the frustration invovled for the victims that's so beautifully illustrated by your work.
It's just so wonderful. I can show this to anyone and they'll be moved by it. You truly are doing something special with your work and I can only hope you continue to be motivated to do this attitude-changing, anti-intolerant message.
Thus, my glowing praise...

This is very well done

At first I thought of Wall-E rip off too, but I was too quick to judge. Nice work. Great little story. You were able to inject some personality into the robot by his actions alone, without too many sound effects to give it away.

Another vid well deserved to be on Newgrounds.

C'mon folks, don't be mean

He did a flash in one day, give me a break. I couldn't even dream to pull something like this off. I say give him props for the attempt. and not a bad one at that.

Better than most

Keep this stuff going... you're onto something definatly does enough with the dubbing plus good scenes to keep the music going. I'd like to see you finish this.

While I didn't like the "scribble" art myself, leftover lines a such, that's probably just your style so I can't really complain, it still looks good. Cleaning it up a little might make it a little more polished and maybe influence a few others to give it a higher score. But maybe it's just me.

thanks!

Be proud of this

This is definatly a good practice of something quite surreal and artistic. You definatly peaked my intrest with the simple artistry of it, the random images adding to the overal chaos that you seem to be trying to get across. You also cover sereval social concerns that plague the world in your images and while that meaning does come through... there were some images that seemed to serve no purpose...
I like this work, but realize that a statement that uses this many symbols in it's presentation means that the viewer has to interperate every symbol that appears. This can lead to over-analysis or confusion or bombardment and then the total idea is lost...
While I appreciate the idea of chotic images in this flash adding to the whole, it's riding that fine line between "art" and "bad acid trip - animated". I don't think this flash is meant to confuse but, some of the images do.
Perhaps it's just my additude. I want people to understand art like this, but not everyone will and I can see why they might not.

Prolific reviewer, but doesn't know a thing about flash. I hope I bring some smart reviews about games and movies on their content and hope my words get respected... at some point lol.
